How to reheat cooked HoneyBaked Ham
If you want to heat the ham, heat only the slices you will be using, not the whole ham. Individual spiral slices can be wrapped in aluminum foil and heated. Cover the entire ham (or portion to be used) and bake at 275 degrees F for about 10 minutes per pound if using a standard oven.
Is it possible to freeze HoneyBaked turkey breast
The HoneyBaked website only recommends freezing leftover ham for up to six weeks (obviously, they don’t consider that anyone would freeze a whole ham or turkey breast and not eat it right away!)
It’s worth noting that they didn’t mention chilling the turkey breast. They allow you to store ham in the refrigerator a little longer than turkey (7 to 10 days vs 5 to 7 days), but they obviously prefer you not to freeze their bird.
However, if you put it in the freezer as soon as it arrives, it will be perfectly safe. The concern is whether the quality will live up to your expectations or HoneyBaked. Because spiral-cut ham and turkey breast have more potential surface area than normal turkey breast and ham, ice crystals are more likely to spoil the meat or cause freezer burn.
Also, because turkey has a coarser grain than ham, it is more likely to rot in harsh freezer environments.
It is edible and safe in any case. Take it out of the freezer, thaw for no more than two days in the fridge, and give it a try. If it’s gritty or dry, or if it has a burning feeling in the freezer, move on to Plan B. (Do you have a backup plan in case something goes wrong? It’s always a good idea to have a backup plan.)
